Hi,

My mum has managed to snap the wire for her Wii motion sensor strip.

They don't look like normal wires so not sure if its fixable. Anyone had to do this before? Anyone know of any guides?

Other option is buying one, but where from? I've never seen any being sold on their own!

Should be fixable if you know someone handy with a soldering iron. The "sensor bar" is actually nothing but a series of infraRed LEDs and the cable just carries power.

Alternatively I've just seen some replacements online for £7 - £10. Argos even have one for a tenner.

I had a mouse chew through mine. The wires are coated in something so you have to burn off the ends before rejoining. I have mine just twisted together and taped up and it works fine.

Don't get a wireless one though, the only ones I have seen have insane amounts of input lag,

Can't see how thats possible seeing as its just a powered bar with two leds in it, which does nothing clever whatsoever. All the clever stuff is in the remote.
Heck, two candles the right distance apart in a dark enough room should do it!
