I know Heroes Reborn is due this year but its always struck me as odd that the original Heroes hasnt been significantly repeated. When I think of all the other shows which have had reruns its odd that one of the flagship shows for sky, so prominent in their marketing at the time, hasnt been repeated over the last 9 years.

I think it has a lot to do with what a massive disappointment it turned out to be.

Great premise, excellent first season and then it went rapidly downhill and a large proportion of the audience lost interest and stopped watching it.

Much the same as Lost I suppose.

Allegedly Heroes reborn is actually continuing on form the last season finale and is going to focus on new characters in the newly established "brave new world" season only confrimed character returning is Noah Bennet(Horn Rimmed Glasses) Peter pitrelli has already stated he won't be in the new series.

This show got so bad, I have absolutely no faith in the writing team and the prospect of Reborn.

All I ever remember was how Nathan Petrelli was so badly written that he basically constantly changed his mind on big issues bc the writers couldnt think of another way to serve up a stupidly weak plot device to us, and that Hiro was portrayed as a complete badass in S1 Future and turned out to be a massive pansy.

The show had no logic, no charm, and the senseless drival continued to get more and more convoluted.

I just recently re-watched the first series, really enjoyed it... I am now at that crossroad as to whether to continue on or not  :p

I just did this as well. Super good. The first season beats any other comic-based show hands down.

Stan Lee even made an appearance in the first season!

First season was good but the ending sucked and everything from then on was utter toilet. The writing was appalling and it was clear they had no idea how to continue it.

I watched it all until the last series but I lost interest. Started well but from the writers strike onwards was terrible. Most over rated part of the whole show, the cheerleader. Puppy fat teenager with early puberty breasts. They should have put all the people fawning over her on a register ;)

Think she was 16. And if that were the case, 95% of people who watched the show would be on that register. Myself included. :D

When I watched it, it was on an old 17inch Samsung I didn't even remember the s1 on standard definition download. So I started rewataching it recently in 1080 bluray on my projector. Probably only going to watch it to writers strike mid s2. I've been rewatching some older series in similar way find it is OK if I don't remember it. Often I didn't concentrate on it very much. Don't think I could rewatch lost though, maybe bsg and firefly and still yet to watch fringe.
