Just completed a new build, initially using existing nearly new PSU Corsair 550W and existing 120Gb SSD for my son. Build:

AMD Ryzen 7 Eight Core 1700 3.70GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail
Gigabyte GA-A320M-DS2 AMD A320 (Socket AM4) DDR4 Micro ATX Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-19200C14 2400MHz Dual Channel Kit
Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 6144MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
Corsair CP-9020097-UK VS Series ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Power Supply Unit, 550 W

From the outset when playing Overwatch he would get repeated 4101 errors, blacking the screen for a split sec and then crashing the game. Issue wasn't as prevalent in PUBG but still happening. Thought the build through and guessed maybe the PSU wasn't beefy enough so picked up a 650w Corsair locally and changed it out. Problem still there. Have updated drivers for GPU, flashed bios on Mobo to latest release, tried with one stick of ram etc etc and still cant resolve.

The only way to get the machine any way stable is to underclock the card? Not sure what else I can do here, I have a webnote open re RMA, but am somewhat worried about Nvidia hardware now as I have found multiple multiple cases of the same problem all over the web?

Any other ideas on what I can do here, could it still be the PSU?

Do you have any power settings in windows for the PCIe slots?

Do you have afterburner running? Or any power reduction settings in nvidia control panels?

What sort of frame rate minimums are you experiencing?

Temps all look grand, never topping 75 on the card.

Not sure on powersettings in windows for PCIe, don't have afterburner, and will check power reduction settings in NVidia control panel. Will report back on frame rates, but from memory they are acceptable until crash.
