Replace 2080 Super with 7900XT or XTX

Hardware as per signature. Is the GPU the weak link/worth upgrading? Thinking of going AMD instead of spending stonks on NVidia again - will either of the 7900 cards give a noticeable improvement?

7900XT at your res would be perfect

You would possibly double your current frame rates - 7900XT is close to an RTX4080

Should roughly double your FPS if you go for the 7900xt.

You could also upgrade your CPU to a 5800x3d which is the fasting gaming CPU on that platform but do some comparison before so. If you do anything else like video editing etc the 3900x mite be better to stick with.
