replace 5770 crossfire?

presently i have a 5770 crossfire set up, however as its on a m-atx the cards (or at least card 1) is poorly ventilated and often sounds like a jet on take off..

i reckon i can raise about £150 (inc funds raised from selling the 5770s), what options would that give me? i see a lot of 6950 for that sort of price new, is that worth a punt or would i get anything better 2nd hand maybe?

i dont know much about graphics cards at the moment, id like to stay AMD/ATI.

interesting, food for thought..

presumably DVI to mini displayport connectors are fairly cheap (i run dual screens)
