Hi guys

My current rig is the longest i have had to date, I got the m/board + cpu on release here from OCUK, coming up to 3 years now

The 680i was plauged with bugs to start and i regretted a bit not waiting on the motherboard to become more established at the time, I have however, after bios updates, had it running at 3.2ghz for a long time now stable.
I lapped the CPU at the start of the year to help with cooling issues and i still feel it have plenty of mileage left in it. I cant go any further as this board hate overclocking quads

I have a bit of money to spend but feel my quad core is still performing well, Is there a board out there that could push the CPU on a bit? i cant get my 680i to go any higher! Also would i benifit from better/quciker Ram on a new board?
Or do i bite the bullet and sell what i have while its still worth something, even then i have been out the loop so long i wouldnt know where to start

Thoughts?
Cheers :)

A while back i ran a q6600 in an evga 680i a1 rev, couldnt get any more than 3.0ghz from it, replaced it with a p45 asus p5q deluxe, 3.8ghz with relative ease. If looking for a new board id suggest trying members market for a p45 board as theyre still pretty expensive new.
