Have a Thermaltake cpu cooler that has an 8cm SilentCat fan on it and idle temp is around 31-34c
When working temp can rise to 55c.
Using uGuru to control fan speed seems to do the job and the heatsink stays cold enough to touch.
Have thought about using a Cooler Master SAF-B83(ball bearing)8cm fan(input current:0.15A, speed:2500rpm, 32.11 CFM,
noise(at full)26 dB, input power:1.80W )
Present fan Thermaltake SilentCat, input current:0.14, speed 2500 rpm, noise at full: 21 dB, 31.77CFM.
Anyone have any thoughts on this?

CFM is almost similar so I wouldn't bother. It's quieter by a few dB and that's about it. If you need more airflow you want something higher than 32.

its imposible to get a quite fan with high CFM so yo have three options
1) get a delta electronics fan (80CFM)(52db)
2) get an akasa blue led fan which is no better than the one u have (30CFM)(
3) get a 80 to 92mm fan adapter + zalman ZM-F2(92mm) fan (varible speed)
(20db or 36.1db)(1600rpm to 2800rpm) :D not sure on CFM but it looks to be around 40-50
