The discs & pads on our Mini were replaced less than 4k miles ago. One of the discs for some odd reason has developed a small warp in it so the car shudders a bit under braking. Is it wise to replace the discs but not the pads? I've no issues doing both but if it's not really needed then I'll leave it.
