Hi all,

I need your opinion for the purchase of a new graphics card.

This is my current setup:
Operating System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: EX58-UD5
BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 920 @ 2.67GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.8GHz
Memory: 6144MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 2814MB RAM
Page File: 2102MB used, 3522MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 11
Monitor: Dell Ultrasharp U2410

My gtx-295 died recently. I am after a new card preferably much quiter than the latter. I am not a hardcore gamer but I like playing bf3 and a few other games there and then.

What would you guys suggest?

Thanks
agius

The GTX 670 is very popular on these forums but you may have to oc your cpu a bit more to get the best out of it. If you are going to stick with your current resolution a 2GB model will fine if you are planning a multi monitor setup at some point in the future 4 GB would be better.

I went from a GTX295 to a GTX570 and was more than happy with the performance, so anything equal to or greater than a GTX570 should see you with a smile on your face.
