After a little advice, tried searching but seem to find lots of old posts from 2008-2013 that aren't relevant anymore.
I have bt infinity 2 (78mb cap) and a homehub5 .. recently been experiencing both wired and wireless dropouts with the homehub that a reset seems to fix ... my line speed has also dropped to 53mb which I'm not thrilled about .. root cause seems to be the homehub.
I've made the decision to replace the homehub5 as a starting point but I'm a little unsure on compatibility and best buys. I am using a mixture of wired and wireless connections. Also used SSIDinder and checked local traffic and it isn't that causing the problem.
my phone line goes straight into my HH5 no white box (separate modem) ... I'd like to purchase a replacement all in one, the fastest meanest VDSL2 modem/router I can get my hands on ...
.. I've seen the Asus DSL-AC68U on the OcUK page? how doe's this perform is this currently the best for what I'm looking for?
also how easy is it to setup a none BT modem on infinity? never had to before as I always just used provider modems.
Thanks
