The estate has a brilliant engine but bodywork is poor and interior quite old and dated now...

I started to look for a sub £4k replacement ( it only cost me £1200 a year a go )..ideally a little more modern and happy with an estate or 4x4

I kept on coming across 'the old passat estate has the best boot in its class..' and when I search for estates/4x4's etc they look big but when I do some research the boot is a lot smaller than the passat

I have two large dogs so the estate is ideal. So any estates and 4x4's look big but either the height/width/depth is pretty poor

The dimensions of my estate are as follows

Width: 102cm(@narrowest)
Length(Seats Up): 86cm ( from top of seat )
Length(Seats Down) 169cm
Height: 81cm (@shortest)

Anyone got sensible suggestions

Thanks

mine is a Roomster ,the space is great but mine has been a but of a pain egr trouble , water pump failure but now it drives like a dream and its great how all the back seats lift out , the best diesel in them is the pre dpf 1.9 engine imho but that would be 09/10 reg max maybe ?
Mine is a 14 plate

Thanks for that.. looks ok actually. Its more if when the seats are up they can accommodate the dogs. The height is better than the passat, width is not much different but the length of the boot with seats up is 20cm shorter
