Replace WMP in Vista MC?

Long shot I know, but my google skills have deserted me. I want to replace the media player in Vista Media Centre with the Zune Software so I can launch the Zune Software from inside VMC. Does anyone know if there is any way to do this? (Almost like changing the file association would do in windows if I launched a song with the ol' double click?)

(This is Vista 32 Home Premium by the way.)

Is there any way to embed any of your favourite programmes in VMC? the way Media Browser is simply added onto the menu structure?

Nobody found a way to get VMC to use Media Player Classic instead of the build in video player for example?

I don't know of any, but you might have more luck finding a plug-in at The green Button. http://www.thegreenbutton.com/
