Replaced entire pc components, still having issues.

Over this month i've replaced almost the entirety of my rig with new components to fix a problem, including complete fresh installs and everything.

I got a new motherboard/cpu combo, same cpu make but better motherboard, i added a second gcard and made that the main one instead, disabling sli, i replaced the RAM, i installed windows onto a new faster SSD and i'm STILL having issues with this rig.

95% of games just stutter and jerk when i move the camera left/right, doesnt matter if its vsync, no vsync, gsync, 60hz, 120hz, i play 60hz vsync and it just does it so many times over and over and over.

walking left/right is fine but looking left/right causes issues.

I used most of the older components to rebuild up a second pc with a 680 instead and theres NO Issues on that rig, and that makes absoloutely no sense.

This issue is driving me up the bend, it doesnt matter waht i do, what drivers i sell waht i do what settings. Nothing fixes this issue. It's making my phyiscally ill trying to fix this poxxy thing and i wouldnt bother if i didnt rely on it for work.

i7 4790k @ 4.5ghz, akasa venom cooler, 16gb hyper x ram, asus formula vii motherboard, x2 970 msi, 750w psu, 1 250gb hdd, 1 250gb ssd, 1 500gb ssd.

There is literally, nothing i can pinpoint the problem to but its just there, on every game like clockwork. Note that its only when i control the camera, NEVER when im strafing.

Please can anyone help.

VRAM issue with the 970s? What resolution are you gaming at and have you tried running at a lower setting?

Its not fps related, its not the vram. This is every game regardless of settings, resolution, etc.
But i game on 1080p

It's a problem somewhere and its causing games to be unplayable.

I'm pretty much very close to just stripping it, selling the parts off and just using a ****** crap computer and not have a hobby anymore, months ive been having issues.

Maybe the first graphics card has gone faulty? have you tried both cards on there own?

Yep, both old and new, the issue still persists.

I literally have no idea what can be causing it, its either the RAM, psu or the cpu heatsink.

I highly doubt its the heatsink, i highly doubt its the ram either as i tried extras
and no idea on the psu but its stronger than my otehr one.

Have you tried your old 680 in your new PC to see if its the GFXs? Also, have you tried a different monitor, sounds odd but it might be your GSync faulty? Lastly, are you able to capture this to show us? Using a mobile phone to capture it will be best as software might hide the issue.

Does it also happen when using the mouse to move rather then the pad? Are you using SteamPlay?

My gsync is faulty, i dont use it, however it happens on every monitor.

When i use my 680 in my better rig (well better in terms of specs not performance it seems) it still happens. Im not able to capture it due to the nature of framerates and howt hings are recorded.

It happens on mouse but gets covered up a bit, not enough to warrant smooth gameplay.

i dont use any external things and the only peripherals attached are a mechanical keyboard, mouse, power, lan and cables into monitors.

I am in the process of sending a few components back for a refund, im not able to test the psu but i tested the ram and the issue still existed.
No componenets show any faults on any tests.

What is wrong with your Gsync? The PSU can't be ruled out I guess at this point. You are installing a proper Legal version of windows ain't you? Have heard of dodgy ones causing issues before.

Got my legal copy of windows 7 home upgraded to 10, its an OEM but tahts fine.

I dont have anything running in the background, except obviously steam.

The thing is, i was getting all these issues with my old motherboard and cpu, so i replaced those two, and i still got issues on my main one (i obviously did afresh install)

But when i installed those components onto my guest rig they werent there, so one by one i replaced the parts in that guest rig with my main rig, ram, gcards, harddrives and the issue still woudlnt show. But it still happened on my main one.

So i replaced some ,parts of the old one into this one and the issue was still there. The only thing i didnt try was the psu in the guest rig but i have had a 970 run int he guest rig with a 2600 cpu and it was fine aswell.

So i'm at a stump, im gonna do a fresh install of windows again and when i get the refund from the new processor that im gonna send back i'll pcik up a good 1000w psu and see if that helps.

The only thing i havent tried is the CPU Heatsink, but yknow, i highly doubt 2 fans on a heatsink isr eally gonna do that, its an Akasa venom, (And yea, i have cool temps all around so no worries there :) )

Have you tried a different connection like dvi/hdmi ect with the benq monitor or is that Gsync also ?

The BenQ is non gsync, the 2720t. It uses Dual Link DVI, but it happens on that one too.

The gsync acer is display port only (but i think all gsync is)

But i ruled out monitors and displays as ive tried on my hd tv and my friends screen and its all the same.

Did this issue start after upgrading to 10 or before? Maybe compatibility issues with the pad software/drivers if started after the upgrade, maybe check for updated drivers from manufacturers website?

The issue persisted on windows 7, and carried onto windows 10, however i might stick with windows 7 when i reinstall and do tests that way.

I had this problem, can't remember exactly what I used to fix it, but it was some form of driver from Intel for ssd drives. Had it for months until I found a fix about 30 pages into a Google search.

I did end up with the Intel drive programme installed as well, so maybe the drivers installed with that.

Sorry can't be more help, on mobile just now.

If you do find it please let me know! I hope it will help my situation!

Wanted to give an update.

Reinstalled Windows, the worst of it has gone, its still there but not as glaringly bad. Sometimes it is sometimes it isnt.

I've tried plugging in each graphics card to test and no dice, using the onboard is impossible to get enough framerates.

I have a new PSU coming, this time a platinum as opposed to a bronze, see if that helps a bit (I did need more wattage) and if not i'll look into the RAM because i dont see how it can be anything else (As the harddrives are fine)

'I play pad.
and i've replaced the pad, and it didnt help, and the problem doesnt happen on any other rigs using the same pad. '

but does it do it without the 'pad (what sort?)'

Happens with any mouse too.

I dont use gsync as it's a bit useless to me. (It isnt a bad thing, but i personally dont game much on it anymore and have my pc go into my 50" tv when i wanna relax on the sofa and play (And no thats not the cause i tested it on all monitors :P))
I have tried the 680 in this rig and the issue persists, and individually tested both 970s in the second rig together and one by one adn they dont have an issue in it.
I've tried hdmi and dvi like i said on the second monitor and only displayport on the main monitor.
I dont use nvidia experience.

I have pretty much decided to gut and sell all the interior of this, as i have tried every piece individually and none show any faults testing in the second rig or in any form of benchmarking tests and stress tests. and i'm going to keep my new Power Supply (whic didnt fix the issuem 760w platinum corsair) and the two 970s and do a completely new rig. and if the issue persists with that then i dont know and i'll replace the 970s i guess.
Although i still dont have access to the trading forum

(ps throw on a windows 10 oem on top of that so i can utilize the full 32gb RAM)

But i will probably do this when i move into my new flat because i actually recently got kicked out due to family drama. Planning on moving up north to Preston due to cheapness.
