Replaced heat sink now CPU is running at 90°C+ at Idle.

That last RealTemp screenshot says CPU is at 8.1% load. Check the minimum temps only when you see load down to 0-1%. That said, 80-ish for Intel Burn Test with a Hyper 212 sounds good.

Could try lowering ring voltage* and LLC for better temps, if it remains stable.

* Depending on the ring max multiplier.

I bought a NZXT 340 from Overclockers to downsize my huge Corsair 750D. This is a photo of the inside of my case. I have literally just installed a second fan on the cooler so I'll run a test now.

just curious and easily done, are the fans on the cpu in the same direction, pointing, blowing, to the rear?

Sorry for the absolute noobie question but how do I know as air seems to blow from both directions?

Here are my results for the 2nd fan installation. I think I'm good to go. It is overclocked too.

if you place a piece of paper over the fan it will blow away or suck. Also most modern fans of today have arrows bedded on the plastic pointing the way the air will flow.

and them results are good - your idle will get less with less vt and a cooler room

One side of the fan has the frame spokes on it, that'll be the exhaust side. The clean side where you just see hub and blades is the intake side.

There may be fans with a different orientation but haven't come across any, personally.
