replaced iphone screen... touch not working :(

hey all

replaced mates iphone 3gs screen and now its all back together and guess what the touch bit does not work... gutted

any ideas?

Sound like the touch part is not working or he missed plugging it back in I've done a couple of 2g and 3G/3GS but no probs I'd suggest taking it apart but if he's not sure take it somewhere that can help

Plenty of you tube videos on help and showing how to do it.

i snapped a bit off now from the screen, this is gonna be costly

was only trying to help a mate! i have done two of these before and had no issues, got someone else lined up next week, but gonna cancel. not worth the agro! bugger!

did you buy the screen and plastic frame? it is the frame that plugs in i believe and makes the "touch" part work.
