After looking at several possible replacements I settled on an E92 M3 with DCT.
Here it is in storage along with other BMW’s waiting for 1/9 to arrive.

Not had time today to take many photo's, but here's a couple to be going on with.

Really pleased with it so far.

Thanks for all your comments, I'm really pleased with it so far. Not got any plans as far as mods go, but never say never.

With details of the F30 in the press BMW seem to be offering big discounts on E92 M3 at the moment (although not for the E90 or E93 versions). Further discounts can be negotiated, however there was no movement on the price of options or service plans.

I only added DCT as it comes pretty well spec'd. I also bought the 5 year servicing plan for £1000, which I thought wasn't too bad when you factor in the 1200 mile run in service is around £400.

The profile of those tyres looks massive!

Congrats though. Stunning car :)

When I spec'd the car I particularly liked the look of the graphite wheels and did look at the upgrade option which I think was £1290. The upgraded silver 19" M Double spoke wheels do fill the wheel arch better and the lower profile tyre does make the look more sportier, I agree. However I don't think silver wheels look as good as graphite when on a mineral white car. Personal choice I know. Also this car will be used as my daily drive and my commute is 60 miles round trip.

To help my decision the advice I was given was that if after driving/owning the car I feel I really want 19"/20" graphite wheels I could buy a set elsewhere and either sell the standard wheels, use them for track days or even put a set of winter tyres on them. So watch this space.

Will try and post a few more pics up later.
