My daughters GT 220 I think is getting to the end of its days , often the system will crash as the GPU reaches 105 degrees with full fan power , Cleaning the fan & replacing the thermal compound has made some difference . though a lot of the time it can sit about 104 degrees whilst gaming at lowest settings . I know from its a earlier days that it had no issues playing high end games at medium settings so guess the chip has had to much stress over the 3 years being heavely used .
I need the best spec for a card budget of £100 , able to play games on reasonable settings without melting , However the issue is im trying to find the best card without upgrading the 350W PSU which has no graphics card power pins . So im restricted to the power from the PCI express slot like how the gt 220 is powered .
Any thoughts on which I should be looking at ? please . thanks all .

The 6670 would be the fastest card that's bus-powered. Cost between £60~£75, depending the brand, GDDR3 or GDDR5 VRAM model (but to be honest I don't think they will be noticable performance betwen the two), and what feature, cooling, warranty you prefer.
