Currently I own an Thermaltake Armor+ case, on the side panel (Window Side) is an 230mm (23cm) fan currently installed (by stock).
The problem is, the fan makes to much noise for me. So I have been looking around the internet for an replacement.

The information about my case is;

The information about my fan;

I placed a ruler against my CaseFan.

Horizontal: 200mm (20CM)
Vertical: 200mm (20CM)
Diagonal: 230mm (23CM)

The outside from left screw to right screw;
Horizontal: 160mm (16CM)
Vertical: 160mm (16CM)

Now I found this Xigmatek casefan;

Would the Xigmatek casefan fit, or not? Also this was the bigest one I could fine for replacement. :)

use the 5 volt mod on the fan, plenty of guides out there

its just a case of moving two wires, all you need is a flat edged screwdriver, no need for a new fan

Ask for a replacement fan from Thermaltake, your's has to be faulty if its noisy, I have the same case and same fan, its the quietest fan in the case, its 15dba, 800rpm and doesn't actually push all that much air. Are you 100% sure its that fan? THe cable for that fan is insanely long, remove the panel and turn the comp on with the fan as far away as possible, is it not something near that fan, gpu fan or something else.

I really can't hear the fan unless I put my ear right up too it, and I'm not deaf, I changed the cooling on my 5850 because I wanted to reduce the noise, I also wanted improved cooling and higher overclocks and the 5850 is hardly loud anyway.

EDIT:- actually it is a fairly flimsy and cheap fan, is it catching on something or rattling/loose in some way its so slow there really shouldn't be airflow noise or noise from it being on, the Thermaltake basically is that xigmatek fan, wouldn't be remotely surprised if they are identical and made in the same factory, same speed, same specs give or take.

Thermaltake USA swap out case bits/psu's quickly apparently but I can't even get a response from Thermaltake in the UK, might be worth going through retailer(I was contacting them about a 3 year old psu with a 5 year warranty, e-mailed 3-4 times, 2, 3 and 4 weeks ago, no response to any.

Well I bought a Zalman Fan controller, to make the fan go on a reduced speed. So it was less loud, The Zalman Fan controller is not that good. So I don't really mind spending around 15 euro's for a new casefan as long as it fits.

@ About the same specs, the problem is the one from Xigmatek is smaller or am I wrong? Also I am currently modding my case, to a colorscheme of orange and black. :) That's why I got interested in the Xigmatek when I saw it.

I edited my post but ended up having a double post ??
