So the charger on my mums fujitsu amilo pro v3515 is knackered (stupid women wrapping the cables really tight around it!)

So I've looked around, and I've found one that is "compatible" with her laptop. Current chargers is a 20v 3.25a jobbie.

My question is will this "compatible" model be okay, its rated at 19v 4.22a? Seems like quite a bit more amperage?

Or there is a 19v 3.42a one, that has a similar model code, but dosen't say its compatible. (Mine is a ADP-65HB AD, this one is a ADP-65HB)

Ampage doesn't matter as long as it's at least as much as the original. The voltage is much more important and should be the same as the original. A 19V adapter will probably be okay instead of a 20V original but getting a 20V replacement would be better. Your local friendly high-street electronics chain has a good range of laptop PSUs.
