Replacement fan for Corsair A50 High Performance Heat Sink?

Hi all,

This might be a super easy question to answer, but I'd appreciate the guidance all the same. I have an aging PC that I have just shifted into a new case (old case had that lovely rubber coating that became very sticky) and bumped up RAM and processor at a low cost so I can hand it on-to my son to play Minecraft on do his school work on; it's not a particular flashy system but it'll more than meet his needs at this stage.

However, in upgrading the system I have become aware that the fan on the Corsair A50 is rattling, it's a minor thing, but I do wonder if it's an initial rattle that'll get noiser and eventually need a replacement for. The fan itself sits over the heatsink snugly (as demonstrated here) - but is it just a case of getting a new 120mm fan and then taking apart the existing fan (which I am assuming is possible, and that it's a 'cap' that fits over the heatsink and then the fan itself) or do I need to buy one that comes as a unit?

This is probably the kind of thing I could figure out if I had more time and was less worried about breaking things to a stage where I would be without a PC to post this query from, so I thought I'd consult the experts.

Thanks!
