Replacement fans for H100i

i've just completed a build using a Corsair Air 240 case with an H100i installed at the front.
I replaced the stock Corsair fans with their SP120 PWM Low Noise High Pressure fans in push / pull configuration and use the motherboard CPU fan header to regulate the speed.
I also have an extra SP120 PWM fan exhausting through the case roof.
The fans are completely silent for normal use, i can just hear them when they go full pelt using Handbrake for encoding.
I'm running a 2600K @ 4.5Ghz and CPU temps at idle are around 25c and don't push past 60c at full load.

I'm running Alpenfohn K2 Wingboost 2 PWM fans here and cannot fault them. Temp's haven't changed from using stock fans but they're far quieter!

Wingboosts are excellent for noise and cooling. The piranhas are very good at shifting air, but they are quite loud at full speed.

They are PWM so I doubt they will be at full speed anyway, maybe when playing games but will still be quieter than the SP120 for example

Ive used both piranhas and sp 120 2350 rpm PWM versions on my k2 cooler, noise at full speed on both is pretty similair. The slower sp's which i use as case intakes are much lower in noise as they are 1300 rpm ono. How fast and loud any PWM fan runs will of course depend on how you set up the fan profile.

Indeed, that's the good thing about them you can set them up so you will hardly notice them..
