I have a Hazro 27" 1440p monitor at the moment that is working perfectly well. My problem is that due to a defect with my eyes I'm struggling with the font sizes, even with Windows scaling bumped up.

I've been looking at replacements and wondered what peoples views on one of the lower res super widescreen 34" monitors was as I don't want to loose the screen space and also use it for a PS4.

Grab a 1080 27" instead?

You don't really have much choice unless you want to grab a 32" 1440p, but I don't know how expensive those are.

You dont have many options. 34" 3440x1440 superwide would have a smaller dot pitch than your current screen, meaning fonts would be smaller. A 2560x1080p 34" would be ok if you dont mind loosing the vertical resolution. Or look at a bigger 16:9 1440p monitor, 30" / 32" I guess.
