I’m looking for new case recommendations around the £50 mark for something to house my existing S775 rig with view to a possible i5-2500k upgrade in a few months. Graphics card is a MSI 5850 Frozr which just fits in my current CoolerMaster Centurion with a couple of mm to spare, so something with just a bit more room would be good.

The Centurion had an unfortunate accident while transporting it back from LAN the other week. It got picked up by the aluminium bars at the front and the clips gave way at the top. The IO panel is banjaxed so I’m having to hotwire it on. I’ll fix it up at some point and put the 775 back in there when I upgrade to an i5.

Cooler Master CM-690 II Lite worth stretching £6-£10 extra for.

Checked some reviews and the 690 looked just the thing. Bought one today and spent an hour moving the components into it this afternoon. The build quality is excellent and there are lots of nice touches to the design such as the ability to hide the cables behind the motherboard. Plenty of room for the 5850 too.
