Misses has been using my older Pixel 6 Pro and has really enjoyed it.

However last night it took the inevitable tumble and now has a smashed screen. Its now time to replace it. It was overdue a bit as shes often fighting with the storage space (128gb)

What would be a good upgrade that wont break the bank. She uses it for photos and the usual apps - nothing too intensive, but loves to keep open hundreds of chrome tabs... (dont ask)

I think thats a bit too much of a sidestep / backstep for her to be honest. Would rather get a second hand identical replacement then take a hit on the camera spec etc. also the slower charging is a big no no.

Thanks mate thats honestly genuinely all really helpful.

I think the only kicker is the 8GB of RAM vs the original 12GB in the 6 Pro. I cant change her approach to tab management, ive tried its a losing battle.

The other option is to look at just getting another 6 Pro, Amazon still sell them surprisingly... but she struggles with lack of storage on the 6 Pro as it is.

Interesting. Well if thats the case then it shouldnt be too much of an issue, Ill try take a look tonight and see what her memeory use is like on the current device, there must be a way to check. Then if its under 8GB then i guess the 8 is a reasonable option.

I had also been looking at a Poco F7 Pro - can be had in 512GB storage for around £300 ish on deals. I used to have an older Poco Pro and it was great for its price. But not sure how she would like it after being on stock android for so long now.

Ive not been able to get back into the MM either as im sure there might be a few second hand bargains in there too!

The dev options are enabled from when i had it as my main phone.

Ill take a look tonight and see - Thanks mate, genuinely really helpful
