My sons pc is getting quite old now. And i the wife have decided to replace this with a laptop so he can take it to collage later this year. we have up £1000 to spend on a laptop.
He only pays online games like War commander and that type of game. But will be using this for his collage work.
Can anyone give me some ideas on which make and modals to look at please. he does like Asus gear because his monitor WI-Fi router and tablet are all this make. his not after a Mega gaming laptop but some this which would (crush his pc) he words not mine in to the tomorrow.
his pc is
AMD 6400.
4gb ram 1066
HD4800 GPU

With thanks he was looking at the ROG GL752VW-T4077T 17.3" FHD IPS, Intel i7-6700HQ, NVIDIA GTX960M 2GB GDDR5 Gaming Laptop. Can you upgrade these with faster ram and bigger SSD?#
Also whats the MSI GE72 6QD-033UK 17.3" FHD IPS, Intel i7-6700HQ, NVIDIA GTX960M 2GB GDDR5 Gaming Laptop like?

The Dell 7559 is something to look at. Can be had for around £700 by bartering with the live chat and the saving can be used to throw in a decent SSD. It also has the Red and Black colour scheme of the Asus laptops.

It's 15" though, but it may be an option to buy a decent monitor too for when he's not on the move?
