Hi all!

Could anyone please recommend a quiet (hopefully silent) case to replace my aging Antec 900? its the original version they brought out first and i have sound proofed it as much as i could given it has a window with a hole in it lol.

Any suggestions would be appreciated and ideally i want to spend under £100

Thank you :)

sorry if im being a bit slow but would those be big enough to hold my gelid tranquilo too? They do look cool though :)

For Sub-£100?

If you're not watercooling, there's only one answer to this question :)

The Shinobi and Fractal aren't bad cases in their price brackets, but for £99, the RV03 can't really be beaten... It was about £125 new, and is absolutely incredible as an air cooling case. Maybe a 500R might be of interest to you. But yeah, if it was my money, and I was doing an aircooled rig, looking at around the £100 mark, I'd be buying an RV03. (You can remove and respray the 'champagne' strips quite easily)

even if i was watercooling... which i did with the antec 900 (before the pump packed in) the silverstone still looks great to me... why would you not watercool it?

It's not that I wouldn't watercool it, it just hasn't got the most size for it. I think you can mod it to fit WCing in, but for the price you can get better wcing cases. Although saying that, most cases would struggle with wcing. If you're looking at wcing, CM690ii may be a better choice. Saying that though, the RV03 is better for air :)
