Yesterday I dropped my D3200 like an idiot and it landed on the lens, which popped straight off the body and across the room. Two of the three slidey thingies that holds it to the body have snapped off and now it won't stay connected.
Luckily the body seems fine, no damage and no internal problems but I need a new lens. I'm not a massive photographer but I do enjoy having the DSLR for holiday snaps.
Anyone recommend a decent replacement 18-55mm, or should I look at something else? I also have a Nikkor 50mm lens but it isn't AF on my body so not ideal for quick pics, also I like having the zoom of the 18-55.
Don't want to break the bank, but I live in the US so it's a bit cheaper here than the UK at least.
Cheers
