My old Creative Fatal1ty Headset has finally bit the dust.
I don't see them for sale anymore but would like to get something comparable in quality of sound etc.
My budget is around £100
I was looking at the Sound BlasterX H5 Tournament Edition, how would they compare to my old set?
Any other Headset recommendations would also be welcome :)

Ebay, type Beyerdynamic MMX300. Pay just £100 which is stupidly cheap for a new set, only as the new ones are out. These were £250 not long ago.

Or spend a little less and get the Hyper X Cloud, the originals not the new ones with the USB audio dongle.

Cheers for the reply :)
I have a real fear of eBay after a couple of bad experiences so they are not really an option I'm afraid.
The original Hyper X Cloud are around £60, how do they compare to the sound and spec of my original pair which I think is fine? And why not the new Cloud II is the USB connection optional and do you still have a mic + headphone jacks?
I'm not really after a USB only connection and would prefer the Two Jack system I currently have but If the USB connector is optional then that would not be so bad.

The seller is a legit business.

The Clouds will be a step up for sure, no need for the USB thing. They are the best under £100 by miles, but nowhere as good as the MMX300's.

Personally I'd get a decent set of headphones but I do own a cloud 2 and use it most days. It's very decent for the price. Comfortable for long sessions and performs well enough.

This could apply to anything. You get legit sellers on eBay, big businesses etc. Check feedback first, anything less than 95% stat away I'd say. Besides, buyers get so much protection these days it's not a worry.

The MMX300s for £99 on Ebay are probably what I would go for. Great for that price.

Might have all gone. I can't find them either now. The other day I found them with no trouble.

Not surprised if they've all gone, as £99 was very cheap for a headset of that quality.
