Replacement for Logitech G15 keyboard?

Hi Folks.

Looking for some advice on a replacement for the aforementioned keyboard.

After many years of abuse the spacebar sits sunk into the body of the G15 and although it still works and I can flick it back into place (where it'll stay for a while), I guess it's time to get a replacement.

It doesn't need to be an all bells and whistles gaming keyboard....I'm hoping to find something with the same feel as the G15 and roughly the same hand positioning (especially for typing), as it takes me ages to get used to a new keyboard that has a different positioning for hands/fingers.

I guess I should be looking at the newer Logitechs, but does anyone have a comparison on the positioning from them to the G15, are they similar ?


Any ideas?

The G19 is definetly out of my price range at the moment.

Does anyone know if the G105 and G510 have roughly the same layout ? To my eye the G510 does :-S

I noticed someone in the product reviews went from a G15 to the Corsair K70 and liked it .. so I'm wondering if that's maybe an option too ?

Decisions decisions!
 
Plumped for the G710+ as I managed to get it for £99. Picked it up 30 mins ago.

It's definetly a bit different being a mechanical but I think I'll grow to love it.

Not sure whether to keep the palm rest on or not, I always had it on with the G15 but I'm kinda liking the 710+ without the palm rest once I can get my palms resting on the right place on my desk.. time will tell I guess.
