Replacement for MSN Messenger in Vista

Well, I suppose I have said it all in the title. I don't especially like the bells and whistle style of the latest MSN messenger so wonderede if anyone had something better./ Sadly Windows Messenger is not available in Vista as it was in XP.

Then download A-Patch and get rid of all the stuff you don't want in Windows Live Messenger - mainly the adverts.

I find not installing flash in IE7 and using a decent browser gets rid of a lot of the faff of Windows Live Messanger
