Hi there. My tx850 v2 powersupply has just failed. Well it's going to. It keeps shutting down mid game and produces terrible grinding/high pitch squealing noises. Before I send it of for an RMA i would like a directly replacement so i'm not 2 weeks without a computer.

What do you suggest? Corsair support is good but I'm put of now by their power supplies. £110 max.

4670k, corsair h60, 2ssds, 2hdds, two 660tis

Thanks
Marc

Thanks! 1000watts is overkill for my system. After a quick read on the internet, the cables on the silverstone will be miles to long for my system. I forgot to mention I have a silverstone tj08 case and a matx motherboard.

The bequiet one does interest me! but a lot of reviews say they are over price for what you get? I might actually go for it. Anything is better than the TX850! Plus its fully modular and that will help me a lot.

Okay after looking at the bequiet more, and different reviews. I think I might go for it. Seems to be up there with more expensive powersupplys. At £20 off I guess I can't go wrong.
