Replacement for Rad 4850

I've not taken much interest in graphics card technology but was wondering it there's anything out there for <100 quid that would significantly give me a speed boost given my rig in the signature? I have a 22" @ 1680x 1050

I'd wait a month or so, the new 6XXX ATI cards are due end of next month, they should force the price down of a lot of cards just above your budget into the ~£100 region (i hope)

Yeah this. It won't hurt to wait..... Although I managed to get my 5850 last October for £180. 4 months later when supplies were finally reasonable the price was up to £220. Some things are unpredictable - but I am fairly confident that the 6xxx series will knock down the price of the previous generation. It makes no sense otherwise and history has shown it to be true

I'd wait, new cards are due in November, so it's not long at all to wait.
