My other half enjoys audiobooks. She currently uses a Sandisk sport mp3 player.
The tactile buttons, as opposed to touch screen are a great feature. These buttons can be used when listening to a book whilst being half asleep at the time.
It is very light and if dropped, there is no glass screen to get damaged. It's great.
Trouble is, it won't play M4b files. Nor does it have a bookmark feature. I find myself constantly converting M4b to mp3 and splitting in to multiple parts. The multiple parts are useful if she loses her place and make finding that place easier to find again.
Ipod is far too expensive. (Circa £130, if I'm not mistaken?)
Any alternatives out there? Must not be touchscreen (No glass to break if dropped). She is unwilling to use her mobile phone in case she drops it. Tactile buttons would be nice. Must play M4b, Mp3.
Bookmark feature would be nice.
Many thanks.
