So... I'm an idiot and while tidying the end of some cables ties, chopped through my front panel cable. Nr200p max case, I managed to get a cable from the OG Nr200 (was doing a swap from one to another) but now need either the nr200p cable that has no reset button but be easier (no need to tear down the new case) if I can get a replacement OG cable with the reset btn. I'm not having much luck finding anything on searching teh webz - is this the sort of thing I'll need to get from cooler master direct?? Will try post pics in a min.

Yea there's a good shop where I live, will see what they say. I've got a power btn ordered that I can leave hanging out the side so I can get on with the build for now. If the shop are going to charge stupid money I'll bite the bullet and try do the twist and tape, used to have a soldering iron somewhere... might dig it out. Good tip re: heat shrink.

Would just do similar to luckybenski said
Though I usually just put heatshrink on
Then twist the wires together
Then quick heat with a lighter
If you can find a local independent shop
They might just do it cheaply for you if you're lucky
It's a 2 minute job
5 minutes if they solder them as well

Heatshrink you can usually pick up
In the local poundshop for a box of varying diameters
Soooo the local PC shop wants about 40 bucks to splice my cable. Guess I'll take a crack at it myself! No rush, got a power button taped to the case for now. However, I was wondering what you use to strip a cable so small, can see myself stripping and cutting until there's nothing left if my plug wiring skills are anything to go by.
