Hi there, my current card (NVidia 9800GTX) that I have issues with I.e. it fails when my play A PC game, drivers are up-to-date.

I don't really really want to spend huge amounts of money but want a card at least as good as the 9800GTX, can anyone suggest a replacement around the £100 mark please?

Cheers,

Jim

Yes, though you'll get more out of your purchase with overclocking. Until a few months ago, I was using the same cpu as you; the difference in performance at stock and, in my case overclocking it to 3.4, was considerable.

Thanks for the advice.

Any other options out there sub £100?

Cheers,

Jim

This is a 'B' grade product (three months warranty), which means that something might be missing, such as a cable, or you might receive a damaged box, but the card itself will be fine.

If you'd still prefer a brand new card, then there is this, which I 'think' is about the same speed in some games as your current card, and somewhat quicker in others.

Make sure to keep an eye on the temperature if you overclock your cpu. A program like 'Core Temp' is a good one to use.
