hi i just get a S/h water cooled 4790k rig with 2 gtx 970 gpu that keep very cool at 58c when folding ....for team 10 of course...but the 4790 at 4.6meg ..gets very hot.. it soon hit 82c and rising when i stress tested it with FAH so stopped it ....
the seller say it was very close to standard volts at 4.6 but i not check ...i am guessing that the CPU water block may be slugged up or TIM needs replacing ...as i am going to put it all in my case, and as it will be apert i think i will delid the 4790k but when looking for a delidding tool i came across replacement IHS that are machined ..i imagine they are flatter than the stamped out intel lid ....so has any one here had any experience with them
