Replacement iPhone earphones?

Hey guys,

So the earphones that came with my iPhone have suddenly stopped working. I need to replace them and have been looking at the apple ones and apparently a replacement is £26? Which I find quite unbelieveable.

Do you guys have suggestions for alternatives or them cheaper anywhere else?

They have to be similar as I have a case around my iPhone which means they need to have a straight connection.

Cheers!

Why oh why would you want to use these... Klipsch X1's, same price as Apple ones (I think) and so much better!1

Thanks I will take a look. I don't necessarily want to use them especially since I have seen the price! I do have a decent pair of sennheisers but I only used the apple ones as they fit with the case :)

Cheers

Every pair of Apple headphones I ever owned always stopped working. 2 years on since I have used them, I wonder how the hell I ever used them. They don't even go in my ear at all!

Klipsch's are very nice. Love the feel of them. I haven't used the apple headphones for anything since I got them, I believe I still have the bundled up version somewhere around.

+1 for Klipsch. I have some Image S4s and they feel a bit cheap but the sound quality is good and they have proved durable so far (nearly 2 years).

Thanks for all of the responses. Which model do you guys think I should go with then? Do they have the same connector as the iPhone? As it needs to be vertical and no thicker than the iPhone one.

It's just my case is about 1cm thick. So must be able to go into that as well!

Cheers

That's one thing Apple don't make well - earphones. They've always been ****, ever before the iPhone era. Surprising really.
