Replacement lens for tamron 70-300

Having dropped & broken my tamron 70-300 f4/5.6 lens I'm on the lookout for a replacement.
I only paid £130 new for it about 3 years ago, but I'm happy to invest a little more in the replacement, say £300

I've looked at the following, but is there anything better in this price range?

If you're not too fussy have a look at the used lens market, you can get a lot more for your money.

Try eBay, the buyers market or a Nikon forum. As you will probably catch people upgrading from basic gear to full frame or constant low aperture stuff.

Thanks for the reply, I'm certainly going to be looking around the used market, but just a little unsure as to what I want
I'm by no means a professional photographer, but I'd just like to get something that will give me that bit of extra range.

The Tamron 70-300 SP USD is better than that Nikon, and less expensive.

A mate has one and it was quite sharp on his D3300 and my D600.

This is a cracking lens, all the positive reviews online convinced me to purchase one.
