Replacement Mobo Fan headers question

Just changed to an Asus Rampage extreme IV after so many problems with Asrock boards for 2011 socket.

My question relates to the CPU headers on the mobo;

On my old board I had 2 CPU Fan headers on the mobo, so I could use both fans on separate connectors.

On this new Mobo it has 1 CPU Fan header and 1 CPU Opt fan header. Is a CPU Opt fan header something different or is it essentially the same thing. Had a quick google on the matter and didn't really find an answer.

Yes, it's the same thing, asus just describe it differently. My board is the same, pretty handy for users with coolers that utilise dual PWM fans. It has saved me from having to use a PWM splitter cable, one less cable to have to tidy away.
