Hi
I've just installed my replacement motherboard (same make and model)
But my 250gb ssd wont boot..went into bios and there it says its not bootable, its the only drive connectted,

I've used my 120gb ssd to upgrade the bois to lastest version f4 which i was prevoiusly on,
But still no joy
I can see the crucial ssd ok when using the 120gb ssd o/s

any help be much appreciated

The disk is working/showing up fine in windows,
This is so confusing as why i cant use the same o/s ssd as before,
Don't think you need to reinstall windows when you are replacing the same model??????????

Hmm you'd think it would work. The Windows install is "stamped" with the hardware ID, but the drivers are the same. Can you use another machine to take your files off, then wipe and reinstall?

There's nothing on there needing to be saved except time =( but guess most of that been eaten away already and might as well get on with a fresh install before I waste any more time..Thanks all for your suggestions
