Replacement monitor confusion with limited knowledge

Having recently upgraded to new a setup, I am guessing I need to upgrade my monitor(s) to a 1440p 144Hz screen to make use of the new system.

I currently use 2x AOC 2769M monitors on a dual arm to allow for more desk space. Dual screen is used throughout the day for general office work and then occasional gaming like COD and The Division 2. Desk is 160cm x 80cm.

The issue - I have no clue about gaming resolutions so seeking advice as I am beyond lost about what to do. Do I replace just 1 of the monitors with another 27” mounted on the arm or is this just going to look pants? I like the idea of the super-wide panels but do these take up too much space, do they perform well enough for general office work or are they just a gimmick?

If replacing just 1 monitor, are the following 27" any good or better out there for around £600 budget?

Asus PG279Q

Asus VG278Q

Acer XB271HU

LG 27GL850-B

LG 27GL83A-B

Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD

For Super wide, is something like the LG 34GK950F or LG 34GL750-B good enough to replace 2x 27” monitors? If going for a super-wide I wouldn’t want to go above £1200

Thanks for any help.

Ok so I'm leaning towards the LG 34GK950F to replace both monitors due to the current pricing. Is this a decent monitor and ok for GeForce RTX 2070 and Ryzen 7 3700X ?

Main concern is getting rid of 2x 27" monitors when I mostly use for office work. Anyone have personal experience with ultra-wide or would you stick with the 2 monitors?
