Urgh, so the other day my computer randomly stopped reinitialising after sleep. Powering back on would cause it to boot & then resume as if in a hibernated state. Two days later the mobo starts blinking red & displaying '1'. Next thing I know the power supply goes pop & a lovely burning smell comes with it.

I currently have an OCZGXS850, what would be the best replacement?

My system is pretty dated tbf (I really should start saving for a new pc):
-- 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Dominator DDR2
-- NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX
-- IP35 pro mobo
-- Intel® Core™2 CPU 6600 @ 2.40GHz (3.02GHZ)
-- 1TB Western Digital WD10EARS

I'm thinking I could likely get away with:

Personally I tend too like Corsair range of Psu's their 650w would also suit your needs. I dont know why people would want a XfX over a corsair tbh but then I have never used them either
