I built my current PC some years ago, but I'm out of touch with the latest components, so I need some help please.

My current pc has just failed - it won't boot, completely dead, with a flashing green LED on the MoBo. I think the most likely problem is the PSU, but I don't have another PSU to try so I need to buy a new one.

I'm also about to buy a whole load of parts for a major upgrade anyway, so my plan is to buy a PSU now (to get my current pc going again), but then perhaps in a month or so buy the remaining parts for an upgrade. Hence the PSU needs to be good enough for my new pc.

Current setup:
CoolerMaster case
X-Power GTX Light 580 PSU
ASUS P5K-E MoBo
Intel Core2Quad Q9450 at 3.3GHz
Aftermarket CPU air cooler
Patriot PC2-6400 CL5 2 x 2GB
ATI Radeon X1950
2 x 130GB HDD Sata
Intel 80GB SSD
Optical drive Sata
WinXP/Win7

Likely spec for upgrade:
i5 2500K (overclocked as far as it will go)
Asus or Asrock Z68 MoBo
8GB RAM
Single graphics card (~£150)
1TB HDD
Win7

I can re-use the SSD and perhaps the case. I'll probably get a new CPU cooler. My main game is FSX, so CPU processing power is far more important to me than graphics. I'll probably put the old HDDs back in as well.

So, which PSU to buy now? I was looking at Antec TP 650W Modular, or Corsair TX650M, both of which are 80+Bronze. I'm happy to spend up to £100if necessary for something that will last so should I be going for 80+Gold (e.g. OCZ Z 850W Modular)?

So I bought the Antec TP 650W from OC, installed it this evening, the green LED is now on solidly, and the PC boots up fine. :)

Now for the upgrade...

Can anyone suggest which Z68 motherboard I should get? As I said above, it's processing power I'm after rather than graphics power, since FSX is my main game.
