In my Corsair TX750W that I've had for a good few years now, the fan has started making a load of racket.
I have taken it apart and re oiled the bearing, but no joy it still makes a quite a din. I obviously need to replace it but it has a 2pin connector and the PSU must obviously have some PWM because when I connected the fan up to a separate 12v supply it ran very loud.

Any good recommendations for a quiet 140mm fan to replace it with?
Obviously I don't think you can get them with a 2 pin connector so a bit of modding will be required.

A 3 pin will probably fit fine but the tach position on the connector will just hang over the end. Worst case is you can cut and join the wires.

Thanks but a 3 pin will not fit it is this sort of connector but mounted on a board inside the PSU.

And as I said I know the cable will need modding, but I have no idea about 140mm fans so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I've no recommendations for any particular brand of fan but make sure it is not a sleeve bearing fan as that'll fail in a relatively short time. Ball bearing or some of the swanky fluid dynamic types should be used for horizontal mounting. Don't go mental either trying to keep the same speed fan as the outgoing unit. You should be able to drop it a few hundred rpms without any issues.
