Wasn't sure if this'd be better for GH or here, but it is cooling related...

I'm running an old Dell Precision 490 at the moment, it's an ancient machine but performance is reasonable enough with the dual X5355 CPUs, and plenty memory... :)
Just on the quest to quieten it down now, and have come to the PSU as the last annoyance.

I've got 2 Dell 750w PSUs and both have noisy fans, what would you expect for 7/8 year old workhorses though? :D
I would just swap the PSU to a spare 550w Seasonic I have, but unfortunately I need it to have a 24pin and a 20 pin connector on it...

This is very much an extreme budget build, so figure I'll just replace the 92mm fan on the PSU. I've already got a Noctua 92mm on order to replace the memory cooler, but not convinced this would shift enough air for the PSU.
Also... I wasn't too sure on this connector though.

Can I get a replacement fan that would use this connector? Or is there an adapter? (Wasn't sure of the connector name)
Worse comes to worst, I'll just get use molex adapter, but would quite like it to look tidy...
Anyone got suggestions for quietish 92mm fans?

Fans don't tend to come with those connectors. Its a jst connector and it looks like standard pitch so you may find a standard fan connector will at least fit pin to socket but the connector may need some encouragement. You could always lop the connector off and fit it to your new fan.

Yeah, had been thinking I might need to actually do a very minor amount of cable meddling... Laziness will definitely shine through initially, molex connector is everyones friend!
Fair play to the Delta, amazed it still works. Don't think this PC was ever turned off.
