Replacement PSU question

Hi,

I've been given an old Hewlett Packard PC which wasn't working and I've diagnosed it with having a dead PSU. I'm just wondering if I should spend £5.99 on a cheapo Casecom value 300W PSU (12A on the 12V)(has 61 Positive 5-Star reviews). The specs are if I recall correctly :

Athlon 2200+
1b RAM
80Gb HDD
DVD-ROM
Onboard gfx & snd

There's also an Encer 500W (17A on the 12V) for £12.99. Would a cheapo be fine?

A cheap £5.99 300W PSU will be able to supply perfectly adequate current to power that rig stably no problem.

They both sound like cheapo PSUs to me but as C4EVA says either should be absolutely fine, it is hardly as if the system is demanding.
