After my bleatings that Thermaltake kit was alright, I have been proven wrong.

My reservoir has split down the side causing leakage.

I need another pump and reservoir to replace it. I am keen to retain a pump/reservoir combo as I am relatively new to watercooling and would rather keep it as simple as possible, and would rather not introduce additional tubing runs into the system, and also due to the space planning that would be needed. I'd rather not have a drive based solution as I would like to keep the pump/res lower down in case the same things happens again and components start getting moist.

So, what are my options?

I've been looking around and am a bit confused. I've seen these Laing/XSPC DDC tops but am slightly confused as to what exactly they are and how they work. I've also seen that you can buy the DDC pump separately from the res but it looks completely different?

I'm not after a mega money rinsing solution here, I just want a reasonably compact, quiet pump res combo that will initially power a single CPU waterblock and possibly a 4870X2 waterblock in the future. The tubing size is 3/8" if that helps.

Thanks for your help guys.

Laing DDC pro/ultra with XSPC res-top seems to be a popular choice. Remove standard DDC top and replace with the XSPC one, only 4 screws to touch.
