What RAM would you recommend to replace the ones on the spec linked below. I think the old ones are playing up. Had a few BSOD indicate problems with RAM. Ideally want 8-16GB £70 max. Probably not going to overclock them, probably what burnt them out

Also, would I have to edit the BIOS setting the first time I boot up the machine with them?

Thanks in advance.

The RAM has a lifetime warranty, so get them replaced if you think or have tested them as faulty.

Indeed, I've had my Corsair RAM replaced twice, OCZ 3 times, Crucial twice, it happens. Test with memtest86, if they don't run on the xms profiles or the specs they are supposed to, send back! Probably haven't burnt them out, ram does just go bad sometimes. I never had overclocked ram until now.

My test haven't proved anything. Memtest86 (and every other test) says everything fine. The BSOD aren't exactly frequent but it happen enough times for it not to be freak event.

RAM can still be faulty regardless of what the tests show. I had some faulty ADATA RAM which never showed up on tests until I took one piece out and it BSOD'd every few seconds.
