Need to replace a dead board. So thought i may as well do a small upgrade as this hurts to say, i am a tipical(ish) gamer with out a Graphic card.
As i am in need of a replacement AM3 Board it seams only logical that i include a GPU in my order.

All i simply need is:
..........AM3 socket motherboard,
..........GPU of sorts.

Iv came to figure that N-vidia solution is will be better value in my situration for the games that i play and are intrested in all favour N-Vidia but do prove me wrong if not so. (play RTS and SIM games. paticuarly Racing SIMs)

Will order either wednesday or on the weekend. Also the parts dont have to be 'Future Proof' as such just to be good performing till around aprill.

but catch is that it cannot excide £205 inc VAT, exc delivery

The weekly offers change on wednesday, wait to see what becomes available.

But immediately a GTX560 and Asus AM3+ 7 series board springs to mind.

ok. thanks. guess ill just bump this on the day then.

just noticed not all motherboards list support for GPUs (mostly single pcie x16)
so just for clear mind, does this mean they use either AMD/N-Vidia or only AMD?

You can use any ATI or Nvidia card in any AMD board.

Its crossfire and sli that becomes more difficult to get the right board for.

PowerCool i think it was no big name or anything but seams pretty solid tho. cant rember the name or model but do rember the basic stats of it. has all the safty features as most highter end PSUs tho.

dual rail. total v12 25amps/300w

appologies for my slow repliey.

nice find.

shows that it would peek just over it if including the CPU and other items. maybe so much that a underclock maynot bealbe to save it?

right now so my perants are really annoyed and dont want me on their computer anymore even tho i was only on it for like 10mins a day or so to cheek my emails -_-

and so i have to order today.

so anyone got any advise on what to get.

I know you said no more than £205, but I think you need a new PSU for this sort of graphics card which is currently on a special pre-order deal.

yes i understand. i can now stretch to £265

so what happens with the "pre order" deal thing then sorry? does this delay the delievey of other parts with it or etc?

Edit : sorry just noticed its only 2days away so its no concern.

ok, thanks for the advise. is this now safe to order? still a litle left that i can use so is their nothing better at slight premiume or is this the order to make?

only got a 550BE.

i dont think that it needs a cooler but (kinda good news for me) i am allowed to spair 16 quide for a cooler in total to what i have left.

So £39.04 left?

What case do you have? don't want to be suggesting something that stops the side panel going back on.

no just £16 total (what i had plus what i can) sorry for the confusing way of putting it.

could u please give me dirrections on how to post screenshots please. explaing would be much simpler why. its also becouse i have to get a few other things for other peaple and i dont have a choice on them.

ok was just searching in storage and found a wireless card. forgot i had it and had a network wire in the order. removing that item gave me enought for this PSU...
