Replacement UPVC Door Hinge Washers

I mean, presumably these are here to wear down and then be replaced - but I never see much noise about replacing them?

The cowboy in me wants to pop the pin and use the top washer on the bottom as presumably that has no wear - is there a proper fix for this?

I used some SS washer i found in the garage to do this a few years back
Wanted the door a smidge higher as was rubbing on the rubber bottom seal and squeaking when open and closing
